Biography
Carthy has been a Sinn Fein TD since 2020. A former MEP for Midlands North-West, he is the coordinator of Sinn Féin's United Ireland Project. He was Sinn Féin's whip in the European Parliament, and is the party's director of elections for the 2024 general election.
