Biography
James Geoghegan is the current Lord Mayor of Dublin, and has been a Dublin City councillor for Fine Gael since 2019. He was a founding member of Renua, but left the party over its anti-abortion views. He ran unsuccessfully in Dublin Bay South during the 2021 by-election.
