Biography
Jerry Buttimer is a Fine Gael Senator and Cathaoirleach of the Seanad. He was a TD for the Cork South-Central Constituency from 2011-2016. A former Cork City Councillor, he was also the Party Spokesperson on Transport and founder of Fine Gael LGBT. He worked as a secondary school teacher before entering politics full-time.
