Biography
Lowry has been an Independent TD for Tipperary since 1987. He is a former Fine Gael member and ex-Minister for Transport, Energy and Communications. Despite numerous controversies, a conviction for a tax offence and the findings of the Moriarty Tribunal, Lowry has topped the polls in Tipperary North for six elections in a row.
