Biography
Martin is a TD and the Green Party spokesperson for foreign affairs. He is a barrister and co-founder of the New Beginning group that provides free legal advice to people. He prioritises climate action, creating a sustainable world for future generations, transport and affordable housing.

Why did you decide to run in this election?
I feel that a climate and social justice voice is needed more than ever before.
What do you think is the greatest issue the country faces right now?
The greatest issue the country faces is the same as the greatest issue humanity faces – global warming and biodiversity loss.
What would you like your first speaking time in the Dáil to be about if you get elected?
Haven’t thought that far ahead yet but it might be the need for people to come together in a more unified cohesive way to tackle climate change and biodiversity loss.
