Biography
Berry has been an Independent TD since 2020. Formerly a member of the Defence Forces for 23 years, he was part of the elite Army Ranger Wing for six years, serving overseas in the Balkans, Africa, and the Middle East. He qualified as a doctor and worked for the HSE before being appointed head of the military medical school.

Why did you decide to run in this election?
Because politics is the art of the possible. You can sit back and just complain about things or you can roll up your sleeves, get involved and get things done.
What do you think is the greatest issue the country faces right now?
Lack of available and affordable housing.
What would you like your first speaking time in the Dáil to be about if you get elected?
Housing.
