Jewellery, machetes and garden tools among items seized in morning raid

Two people have been arrested and one is due to appear in court this morning.

TWO PEOPLE HAVE been arrested after searches were carried out as part of an investigation into robberies and burglaries in Dublin.

At around 7am gardaí searched a number of locations in Dun Laoghaire, Booterstown and Blackrock.

A large quantity of jewellery, computer parts, electrical tools, garden tools and weapons, including pepper spray and machetes, were recovered.

A man and woman, both in their 20s, were arrested for robbery and outstanding Bench Warrants.

The man is currently being held at Blackrock Gardai Station.

The woman will appear before the Criminal Courts of Justice this morning.
