A TEENAGER HAS been charged in court over an aggravated burglary at a woman’s house in Dublin yesterday morning.
The 17 year old appeared before Dublin District Court this afternoon after being arrested and questioned at Tallaght garda station yesterday.
He was detained in relation to an attack on a house in Citywest just before 8am Tuesday.
The woman in the house was threatened and assaulted by five men with knives.
The gang assaulted her and fled the scene with a car taken from the house and what gardaí said was a “substantial” amount of cash.
The vehicle was later found in the Glenshane area near Tallaght.
The 33-year-old woman did not require medical attention. Gardaí said there was no one else in the house at the time.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to contact them at Tallaght Garda Station on 01 6666000, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666111 or any Garda Station.
