A NIGERIAN WOMAN is due in court this morning charged with keeping a brothel, after being arrested earlier this month in connection with the charges, RTÉ News reports. The woman, 35, had been kept in custody pending her deportation, but the DPP had directed that she be charged in connection with the keeping of a brothel. Gardaí had been searching for her for some time, RTÉ added.

A 48-YEAR-OLD MAN has died after a serious assault in Ballymun last night. The man was set upon outside a pharmacy on the Ballymun Road at around 9pm. He was rushed to Beaumont Hospital but died this afternoon from his injuries. Gardaí believe up to two men were involved in the assault, and have appealed for witnesses to contact the Ballymun station at (01) 666 4400.
