COCAINE, CANNABIS, ECSTASY and prescription drugs worth hundreds of thousands of euro have been seized in a major drugs raid in Dublin.
The drugs were found during a planned search of two vehicles in Finglas in north Dublin on Tuesday and have been estimated to be worth €460,000.
After seizing the drugs, gardaí carried out further searches of a number of premises in the Finglas and Blanchardstown areas where a “substantial” amount of cash was recovered.
The exact sum has not been released, but photographs released by the gardaí show at least five large stacks of €50 notes.
Two men, one aged 39 and the other aged 33, have been arrested and are currently being held at Ballymun Garda Station.
Gardaí said that the sting operation was carried out with the assistance of people in the local community.
