The controversial Baby Gaga ice cream went on sale in a parlour in London’s Covent Garden.

BREAST MILK ice cream has been seized from a parlour in London due to health and safety concerns.

The controversial ice cream was sold under the name Baby Gaga at the Icecreamists restaurant in Convent Garden.

Today it was announced that a council had confiscated the breast milk ice cream amid concerns it could be unfit for human consumption.

The Council of Westminster sent a sample of Baby Gaga to be tested for viral infections. The ice cream is made by blending breast milk with Madagascan vanilla pods and lemon zest.

Founder Matt O’Connor said he had taken every possible precaution over the recipe; that the donor was screened at a leading medical clinic; and the ice cream is fully pasteurised.

Brian Connell, Westminster’s cabinet member for business, said the move came following complaints from members of the public and concerns from the Health Protection Agency and Food Standards Agency.
