Man charged for attempted murder after man left in critical condition

A 26-year-man was arrested in the Dungannon area in connection with the incident.

POLICE IN NORTHERN Ireland have arrested a 26-year-old man in connection with a stabbing incident in Craigavon yesterday.

The man was detained on suspicion of attempted murder and possession of an offensive weapon following the attack, which happened at around 7pm in the Clanrolla Park area.

The suspect was arrested in the Dungannon area and is currently in custody assisting officers with their enquiries.

All charges are set to be reviewed by the PPS.
