Dart service disrupted over bank holiday weekend

Engineering works mean disruptions for north Dublin service from Saturday to Monday.

NORTH DUBLIN Dart services will be disrupted over the bank holiday weekend due to engineering works under the Dart resignalling project.

Iarnród Éireann says that there will be no train service between Connolly and Malahide/Howth stations on Saturday, Sunday or Monday as a result of the work.

Dublin Bus will accept all valid rail tickets over the period of the disruption this weekend and will be providing extra capacity for the disrupted areas, according to the rail service.

The Maynooth/M3Parkway Commuter service will operate as normal.

Here are the services affected this weekend:

  • Dart services will run between Connolly and Bray/Greystones will operate, but with some alterations
  • The Belfast Enterprise service will between Drogheda and Belfast, but with a direct bus transfer between Drogheda and Connolly station in Dublin
  • The Drogheda/Dundalk Commuter service will operate to and from Malahide only. Dublin Bus will accept all valid rail tickets on their scheduled services to Dublin city centre
