Man injured in Dublin shooting

The man received a single gunshot wound to the lower leg in Coolock, his injuries are not thought to be life threatening.

A 21-YEAR-OLD man has been injured in a shooting incident in Dublin this evening.

The man received a single gunshot wound to the lower leg at Moatview Avenue, Coolock at about 9.20pm.

He has been taken to Beaumont Hospital for treatment for his injuries which are not thought to be life threatening.

The scene is sealed off and a forensic examination of the area is underway.
