Fire under control at Macroom factory

The fire broke out this morning and fire crews are still on the scene. No one was injured in the blaze.

A FIRE BROKE out at a pallet factory in Cork this morning.

The blaze broke out at Mid-Cork Pallets, BreakingNews.ie reports.

A garda spokesperson told TheJournal.ie that the fire services were on the scene at around 8am this morning.

He said that the gardaí have to wait until the blaze is fully extinguished before they can investigate the site.

The fire is not believed to have been completely extinguished at this point.

No one is believed to have been injured in the fire.

The garda spokesperson said that at this point it did not look like a suspicious incident, but this could not be confirmed until an investigation has taken place.
