We are offering a full scholarship worth €14,500 for the UCD Smurfit School MSc in Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Design – a part-time two-year programme that supports students and founders to launch their own company in a structured learning environment.

Why this MSc?

The unique design of the MSc in Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Design combines the academic rigour and theoretical grounding of a traditional Master’s with extensive practical experience involving the creation of actual new ventures.

So if you’re a tech entrepreneur – or a would-be tech entrepreneur – with a science, technology, engineering or maths degree and at least three years’ work experience, it could be for you.

The course, which launched in 2015, offers expertise from three leading Irish institutions: Smurfit School’s strength in core business and innovation management, National College of Art and Design’s industrial design expertise, and input from experts at NovaUCD, UCD’s leading incubator of technology firms.

Located in Blackrock, Co Dublin, UCD Smurfit School is the only Irish institute that has made it into the top 100 in the Financial Times rankings of MBA programmes for the last 18 consecutive years. The School also holds the prestigious ‘triple crown’ of accreditation from AACSB, EQUIS and AMBA alongside only 74 other schools worldwide.

All applicants must have a minimum second-class honours degree or equivalent – this should be in science, technology, engineering or maths (STEM), although other disciplines including Business, Law, Arts and Architecture may be considered – and a minimum of three years’ professional experience.
