Teens arrested after garda car rammed in Dublin

Two gardaí were taken to hospital after the collision, but were released a short time later.

FIVE YOUTHS WERE arrested this morning after a car rammed a garda vehicle in Dublin.

The incident occurred on the Malahide Road at 11.17am. A garda spokesperson said five juveniles were arrested in connection with the incident and were later released without charge.

A file will be sent to the Director of Public Prosecutions.

The two gardaí who were in the car at the time were taken to Beaumont Hospital and were discharged a short time later. They are not believed to have sustained any serious injuries.
