SO DID YOU make it to a parade today?
If you did, you’re one of many: over half a million people attended the biggest parade in Dublin city today, with thousands more taking part in parades in cities, towns and villages around Ireland today.
So without further ado, here’s all the best photographs from the Dublin parade – including marching bands, floats, leprechaun hats, face paints, some Guinness, dancing, John Giles, and a whole lot of colour…

Do you any photos of all the under-age extremely drunk boys and girls fighting, pissing, falling over, arguing etc. I was having a great day until about 3 o’clock when I started to see what was happening. Where are these kids getting all the alcohol?? It was disgrace around central bank. Garda and hospitals were exhausted trying to sort out drunk kids (and some adults but it’s not against the law for adults to drink so ya can’t really do anything with them although it is against the law to serve overly drunk people). I seen one young guy falling into outdoor seats in temple bar, the owner of the cafe place asked the Garda to take him away, his friends scattered and the Garda sent him in the direction of the Liffey bumping into every person along the way, his parents should have been called to collect him and the Garda should find out who bought him drink and prosecute them.

Sorry journal, have to agree with the others here, pics are pretty tragic in fairness.
You need to hire a professional photographer, if that’s the best selection, it’s quite bad……just saying!
