GARDAÍ HAVE SEIZED a quantity of heroin with a street value of €150,000 and arrested a woman in connection with it.

A search was conducted yesterday evening at a house in Ballyfermot as part of an ongoing operation targeting the sale and supply of drugs. The large quantity of heroin was seized and a woman in her 50s was arrested at the scene.

She is currently being held at Clondalkin Garda Station where she can be detained for up to seven days.

Gardaí said these kinds of operations are crucial in disrupting the criminal world and dismantling drug networks.
