FANCY TRADING UP? How about a three-bed barn conversion with nice views, on its own land – yours for just €122million.

Admittedly the Jackson Land and Cattle Ranch in Wyoming, USA is no ordinary farmhouse. Sitting on 1,750 acres of land overlooked by the Rocky Mountains, it also comes with a four-bedroom guesthouse, equestrian centre, and separate housing for staff. The home is currently occupied by a casino magnate who is marketing it as “the world’s most expensive home”.

But the Wyoming pad is far from the only choice for today’s mega-rich property dabbler. Here TheJournal.ie looks at some of the world’s most expensive houses:
