@ earl dont lower yourself to a very dim and unintelligent man like jonathon, people who have never served in the lebanon do not know what goes on there and as someone who did 3 tours in 95,97 and 99 and who lost a friend and colleagues over there ill not lower myself but say i am proud to have served my country and am proud to see our soldiers coming home safe and sound, we may not be a world power but irish troops are respected far and wide by world powers due to our vast experience in many different countries and roles designated by the UN. irish troops are at the front line in afghanistan and are world leaders in EOD and for johnaton thats explosive ordinance disposal in other words saving lives in the most extreme of enviroments and as a great actor once said ” here endith the lesson “.

Welcome home lads & ladies, you do a fantastic job. These photos bring back many memories of welcoming my Dad home from over seas duties when growing up.

More bombs being dismantled in Dublin than in Lebanon now. Glad they got home but the hardest duty they did was refraining from drink.
