Cannabis, heroin, cocaine and a sawn-off shotgun seized in Leixlip

Two men, aged 58 and 20, were arrested at the scene.

GARDAÍ HAVE ARRESTED two men following the seizure of a large quantity of drugs and a firearm at Ryebrook Business Park, Leixlip, Co Kildare.

A number of searches took place this morning following a surveillance operation. Cannabis herb and resin worth €64,000, powder believed to be cocaine worth an estimated €105,000 and €75,000 worth of heroin were seized.

Gardaí also seized drug paraphernalia, 250 rounds of ammunition and a double barrelled sawn-off shotgun.

Two men, aged 58 and 20, were arrested at the scene and are currently detained at Leixlip Garda Station.
