A LARGE SCALE protest against the local property tax (LPT) is currently under way in Dublin’s city centre.

Socialist Party TD Joe Higgins, who told TheJournal.ie that he would not be paying the tax, said that the aim of today’s march was to give a voice to the taxpayers who opposed the property tax.
