why paint in between the tracks? come on everyone in The country knows Dublin has a Luas. if people started to open there bloodys eyes while driving you will notice signs 100 meters away from the junction, or even the traffic lights before the junction to stop you crashing into it, or even the big dirty over head lines that power the unit. how much more info do people need. if you don’t notice these things and still get a belt of a luas well in my view its natural selection and you kinda deserve a belt of a Luas. but I wouldnt wanna disturb everyone else’s travel time.

Ill agree that men are in more serious accidents but i truely believe that women will have more small bangs. Everytime i see the dent on the back of a car from reversing into a pole its a woman driving or tearing up their alloys on a kerb. this my personal experience and what i form my opinion on.

A guy on a motorbike crashed into the back of me on college green one time and fell over. Within ten mnutes there were four fire brigades, two cop cars and an ambulance.. I would assume they get to bill for call outs.

That is a really bizarre thing to say. The same applies to any form of linear form of transport including car journeys – delays. Delays because you are stuck in traffic somewhere on the route or delays because if you are,say, in a car, your route deviation causes time added to your commute.

@brian- no Brian, if a bus crashes, another bus comes along. The fleet of busses doesn’t come to a halt!

If a bus breaks down or involved in a crash, one behind or one from garage can pick up stranded passengers, What can the Luas behind do? Luas being on tracks is restricted to only one direction, It does have some advantages but between the disadvantages and cost I think it was a waste of money

@Sean the luas has been the most succesfull form of public transport in Dublin ever, it exceeded expectations in passenger numbers since launch and is the only form of public transport that makes a profit and doesn’t receive a government subsidy for the day to day running of it, unlike the bus service. so everything up top, that you said, is just …..ya know…. not true or backed up by reality.

Dont know about that but i can tell you my girlfriend cant between two lines in a car park unless there is a car either side of her. Terrible stuff!

Are you for real? A luas is on tracks and only moves when given permission. So I would say close to 99% of accidents arnt the luas drivers fault. I think you just went full retard.

you are a clown. yeah its the car drivers fault most of the time running lights and bringing there cars down streets closed off to cars. the why would azugd luas crash into things with the driver is held accountable one prime example the Luas v Dublin bus on o connell street the Luas driver went to court. so yeah they are plowing into cars just for the sake of it good man
