Explosion at housing complex for the elderly in Dublin

Gardaí are not investigating, stating the cause of the blast was human error.

A MAN HAS been taken to hospital as a precautionary measure following an explosion at at housing complex for older people in Killester.

Gardaí confirmed that nobody was injured in the blast but the resident was brought to hospital as a precaution.

The building in St Bridget’s Court was badly damaged as a result of the explosion in the unit.

Dublin City Council are investigating the matter but gardaí have said the blast was caused by human error.
