We’ve taken a look through what’s on offer and picked out series and movies that you can check out over the next three days on streaming and the telly.
Scarpetta
Nicole Kidman is back on the small screen. In this show she stars as Kay Scarpetta, the iconic literary character created by Patricia Cornwell. Scarpetta is an unrelenting medical examiner who’s determined to serve as the voice of the victims and unmask a serial killer.

Rooster
This ain’t The Office: Steve Carrell headlines this college campus comedy, playing author Greg Russo who is at a crossroads after a divorce. He wishes he was like his character Rooster, but is nothing like him. Then he’s given the chance to make an appearance at Ludlow College, where his daughter Katie works. But she’s going through a tough time of it herself, so he joins up as writer-in-residence at the college. No doubt not everything will go to plan.
On Sky Comedy, Mondays at 10pm and streaming on NOW.
A Woman of Substance
Brenda Blethyn stars in this adaptation of the Barbara Taylor Bradstone 1979 novel (the first of a seven-book series), playing Emma Harte, who works her way from kitchen maid to successful businesswoman. But she’s never forgotten those who did her dirty along the way.
This Channel 4 show launched on Wednesday and can be watched back on Channel4.com.
Iron Ladies
Multi-award-winning director Aoife Kelleher brings us the previously untold story of The 35s, who were a network of young Jewish housewives and mums in London, Dublin and other Western cities. During the Cold War, they took on the USSR in defence of the rights and freedoms of Soviet Jews … and won. Features interviews with some of the women themselves, speaking for the first time.

Twisted Yoga
This series follows a group of young yoga students from around the world who fall under the influence of reclusive Romanian “guru” Gregorian Bivolaru, the spiritual leader of an international network of yoga studios specialising in tantric rituals. But Bivolaru now faces charges in France, including human trafficking, kidnapping and rape. He denies the allegations, and in this show former acolytes speak out about what they experienced.
