AFTER MUCH SPECULATION, Anton Savage was confirmed yesterday as Today FM’s replacement for Ray D’Arcy in the station’s high-profile mid-morning slot.

The broadcaster certainly has plenty of experience. He’s previously filled in for Ray, guest-hosted The Last Word and had stints presenting on TV3 and for RTÉ in recent years.

The announcement got a broadly positive response on Twitter. But will you be listening?
