FOUR MEN HAVE been arrested for questioning in connection with a burglary at a service station in Donabate, north Dublin, last night.

Garda traffic units, detectives and an air support helicopter all responded, after the alarm was raised shortly before midnight.

“Gardaí responded to a report of a burglary on Hearse Road, Donabate and that a dark coloured saloon car with four men on board had left the scene travelling in the direction of Swords,” a statement said.

Officers gave chase and the car was brought to a halt in the Donabate area. The men were arrested nearby as they tried to escape on foot.
