THERE’LL BE A mixed bag of weather around the country this weekend.
It’ll be cloudy this morning with scattered outbreaks of showery rain near the east coast, according to Met Éireann.
A few breaks will develop in the cloud across the western half of the country during the day, but mostly it will remain cloudy. Highest temperatures will reach 13 to 17 degrees.
Tonight will be dry and cool with lowest temperatures of seven to nine degrees.
Tomorrow will be mostly dry.
There’ll be sunny spells throughout the morning and early afternoon, but cloud will generally increase over the second half of the day with outbreaks of drizzle or rain during the evening. Temperatures will peak at 17 to 20 degrees.
There’s worse news for Sunday. Rain will spread across the country during the morning and continue through the afternoon, becoming heavier towards evening before clearing that night. Highest temperatures will reach 16 to 18 degrees.
Monday morning will be cloudy and showery rain will persist for the first half of the day. The skies will brighten in the afternoon, although rain will continue. Temperatures will hit 17 to 20 degrees.
