Last year, Sean White’s house in Palmerstown won national acclaim thanks to the heroic effort he puts into his Christmas lights – and all in the name of charity.

It’s become something of a local attraction – and watching the White family turn on the lights is now a neighbourhood tradition.

The DailyEdge reports how Sean raises the money for Dylan, a little boy with cerebral palsy who lives in the area, and his daughter Shauna tells DailyEdge.ie that last year’s total came to €1700.
