Poll: Which of these dogs should win the Great Irish Bark Off for February?

Not a decision to be made lightly.

WE KNOW THAT it’s impossible to choose, but you have to.

Allianz has been insuring pets across Ireland since 2001, and this month they’re launching the Great Irish Bark Off — a digital dogshow that gives you the chance to put your pupper in the spotlight.

We’ve received hundreds of dogs in our inbox since we first asked our readers to show off their beloved good boys and girls, and we’ve picked three of the finest furry friends for you to vote on the eventual winner.

The winner of this poll will receive a €30 voucher for Irish pet shop pets.ie, as well as the digital ear-scratches from thousands of readers who will be only delighted to see more dog content on their feed.

We’ve got a wonderful selection of dogs for you to choose from this month, and we certainly don’t envy you making this very important decision. We know it’s hard to choose, but give it your best shot.

BELLA

Bella Buckley

Bella is a two-year-old cockapoo whose family has given her the name ‘Velcro’ since she’s constantly stuck to their side. They’ve even written a poem on her behalf.

Bella is our Diva Dog
She really is quite grand
She rules our house with barks and licks
As you can understand.
She acts as if she’s our love and light
And all our dreams come true
She thinks that we’re her human slaves
And worst of all, she’s right!

KASPER

Kasper is seven years old, a Capricorn, and watches more TV than most humans. His owners say that “No day with Kasper is the same, he keeps us all on our toes with his demands, but we wouldn’t have it any other way.”

ARCHIE

Archie is six now, but he was only eight weeks old when he was taken in from the DSPCA. His favourite hobby is napping on top of his brother, a giant golden retriever by the name of Indiana Jones. His owners say, “When he stares with those big brown eyes into anybody’s face, hearts melt.”

It might be the toughest choice you make today, but who has your vote for February’s Great Irish Bark Off dog of the month?

Poll Results:

Bella (1)
Kasper (1)
Archie (1)
