COBH GARDAÍ ARE carrying out enquiries after a woman in her 20s was assaulted in her home in Carrigtwohill, Co Cork.
It happened yesterday morning at around 11.30am, a garda spokesperson confirmed to TheJournal.ie this evening.
The woman was taken to Cork University Hospital for treatment to a number of injuries, and was discharged yesterday evening.
No arrests have been made.
The investigation is ongoing.
