THE BODY OF a man in his 20s was found in a field in Tallaght last night.

The remains were found near Killinarden Hill at around 9 pm.

Gardaí in Tallaght are investigating the circumstances surrounding the discovery and are appealing to anyone with information to contact Tallaght Garda Station 01-6666000 or the Garda Confidential Line 1800 666 111.

The scene is being preserved pending a full technical and forensic examination by the coroner and the state pathologist.
