GARDAÍ IN BOYLE, Co Roscommon are investigating a serious assault on a teenage girl over the weekend.
The incident happened shortly after 2.00am on Sunday morning, 23 June, down a laneway just off Elphin Street in Boyle.
The girl, who gardaí describe as being in her mid-teens, is believed to have been assaulted around the Elm Court area.
No arrests have been made and gardaí are asking anyone who was in Elm Court between 2.00am and 2.45am to contact Boyle gardaí on 071 9664620, the garda confidential line on 1800 666 111 or any garda station.
