Bus crashes into multiple vehicles in Glasgow city centre

Reports from the city suggest it may have been a runaway vehicle.

POLICE IN GLASGOW are attending the scene of a bus crash in the city, after the double-decker struck several vehicles before coming to a halt.

The BBC reports that Renfield Street is closed in the area of West George Street and St Vincent Street as officers investigate.

It’s understood one male has been injured.

Reports from the city suggest it may have been a runaway vehicle.

Editor of the Big Issue magazine Paul McNamee spoke to STV.

“I just heard a bang, looked around and saw a double-decker bus coming down Renfield Street,” he said.

There didn’t appear to be anyone in it.
