Cannabis herb seized, 45-year-old man arrested in Tallaght raid

GARDAÍ HAVE SIEZED cannabis herb with an estimated street value of around €40,000 following a raid at a premises in Tymon North, Tallaght, south Dublin, last night.

The planned search took place on Saint Aongus Road at around 9pm.

A 45-year-old man was arrested at scene and taken to Tallaght Garda Station for questioning. He’s since been released without charge, and a file is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.

“These operations use advanced analytical and intelligence methods to disrupt criminals and dismantle their networks,” a garda statement said.

“Drug seizures play a critical role in targeting the livelihood of criminals and reducing their ability to carry out illegal activities.”
