ATTENTION: The clocks go forward tonight. Yes, that's one hour less sleep

Be prepared.

THE CLOCKS GO FORWARD one hour at 1am tomorrow morning as the country switches over to summer time.

Yes, that means you get one hour less sleep.

And one hour less in Copper Face Jacks*.

Whatever you’re up to tonight, don’t forget to change your clocks/watches/phones before the morning – though beware that your phone might already be set to go forward itself.

Now, bring it summertime.

*Nobody is really too sure on this actually. Multiple calls to publicans, nightclubs and gardaí left us a bit it a tizzy with the rules. So you may have to take your chances on timing that last drink perfectly.
