Gardaí investigating death of man found on Cork street

He was found not far from the grounds of St Mary’s Hospital.

GARDAÍ IN CORK are investigating the death of a man who was found lying on a street in the city.

The man was found in an unresponsive state in Gurranabraher yesterday around 5pm.

He was found not far from the grounds of St Mary’s Hospital.

From there he was taken to the Mercy University Hospital but died a short time later.

Gardai at Gurranbraher are investigating the circumstances of the death. They can be reached on 021-494 6200.

A file will be prepared for the Coroner’s Court.
