A GARDA INVESTIGATION is under way after a man was found dead at a house in the Courtown Harbour area.
Officers were called to the address at around midnight last night. One man was found dead, while a second man found injured at the scene was taken for treatment to Wexford General Hospital.
The Office of the State Pathologist and the Garda Technical Bureau have been informed, a garda spokesperson told TheJournal.ie.
The body remains at the scene, which has been sealed off pending the arrival of the forensic investigators.
A post mortem examination will be conducted at Waterford Regional Hospital, most likely tomorrow. The results will help determine the course of the investigation.
