HEALTH OFFICIALS HAVE confirmed an additional 2,743 PCR-confirmed cases of Covid-19 in Ireland today.
In addition, 4,990 positive antigen tests were reported through the HSE portal yesterday.
This leads to a total of 7,733 new cases of Covid-19 being reported in Ireland today.
As of 8am this morning, there are 1,360 patients in hospital who have a confirmed case of Covid-19, of whom 54 are receiving treatment in intensive care.
