19-year-old woman in critical condition after being hit by truck

The crash happened at Cork Hill, off Dame Street, at around 7am.

TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS HAVE now been lifted following a Dublin city centre crash in which a 19-year-old woman was seriously injured.

She was struck and injured by an articulated truck at Cork Hill, off Dame Street, at around 7am.

The young woman has been taken for treatment to St James’s Hospital, where she is said to be in a critical condition.

Gardaí have issued an appeal for information. They’re asking witnesses to contact Pearse Street Station on 01 666 9000 or the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111.
