Six couples left standing in Dancing with the Stars as show celebrates 100 episodes

Fair City actress Stephanie Kelly and her professional partner Ervinas Merfeldas were eliminated this week.

THIS EVENING’S EPISODE of RTÉ’s Dancing with the Stars marked 100 episodes of the show.

In honour of the occasion, former host Nicky Byrne arrived to join the voting panel, and the seven contestants left in the competition were given a previous all-star contestant to act as a mentor over the past week.

Each couple were tasked with recreating one of their mentor’s previous routines.

Fair City actress Stephanie Kelly and her professional partner Ervinas Merfeldas were eliminated this week. They were mentored by Kelly’s Fair City costar Ryan Andrews, and danced the samba to Lo-Lo Dzama by Šum Svistu.

The combined public votes and judges scores saw them face-off against Jordan Dargan in the third dance-off of the season.

Other Dancing with the Stars alumni that made a return to the show this week were none other than Des Cahill, Jake Carter, Brooke Scullion, Mairéad Ronan, Blu Hydrangea, and Jordan Conroy.

Those still in the competition are: Ireland AM host Eric Roberts; Singer-songwriter Tolü Makay; The Apprentice star Jordan Dargan; Rose of Tralee Katelyn Cummins; Olympic rower Philip Doyle; and The Traitors Ireland star Paudie Moloney.

Next week is Orchestra Week on Dancing with the Stars, airing on 1 March from 6:30pm on RTÉ One and RTÉ Player.
