Mayo 2-19

Derry 1-17

MAYO BACKED UP their win over Kerry with victory over Derry on Sunday at Celtic Park.

It’s a result that relegated the reigning league champions after three years in Division 1, and eases any lingering Mayo relegation worries with one game to play. Goals from Frank Irwin and Jordan Flynn were the key scores with Matthew Ruane kicking six points. If Mayo beat Donegal in their final game, they could reach the league final if other results fall in their favour.

The 42′s award-winning team produces original content that you won’t find anywhere else: on GAA, League of Ireland, women’s sport and boxing, as well as our game-changing rugby coverage, all with an Irish eye.
