Buy a Lotto ticket in Donegal? Someone won €500,000 and time's running out to claim it

The Donegal winner has until close of business on Saturday, 10 January to claim their €500,000 before it vanishes back into the prize pot.

DID YOU OR someone you know buy a Daily Millions Plus ticket in Donegal in October? 

Do you remember where you were on 10 October? Were you perhaps in the Ardara area of Donegal – maybe even at Ardara Filling Station – where you purchased a Lotto ticket?

Someone did, and in the 2pm draw on Sunday, 12 October, they won €500,000. The winning ticket was purchased at Ardara Filling Station on Portnoo Road on 10 October.

The winning numbers for that date were: 9, 16, 24, 29, 32, 38, and the bonus number was 5.

All National Lottery ticket holders have 90 days from the date of the draw to claim their prize. The Donegal winner has until close of business on Saturday, 10 January to claim their €500,000 before it vanishes back into the prize pot.

Darragh O’Dwyer, spokesperson for the National Lottery, urged all Daily Million Plus players in Donegal to carefully check their old tickets from early October to make sure they don’t miss out on the prize.

The National Lottery advises that if you’re holding the winning ticket, sign the back of it and keep it somewhere safe.

Contact the National Lottery prize claims team as soon as possible on 1800 666 222 or email claims@lottery.ie. Arrangements will be made for you to collect your prize at Lottery HQ.
