Biography

A member of the Socialist Party and a trade union activist, he was elected to Dublin City Council in 2014. He is heavily involved with the anti-water charges campaign and is a member of the North Central Area Joint Policing Committee in Dublin City Council.

Q.

Why should someone vote for you (in 140 characters or fewer)?

I will fight for a real \'recovery\' for ordinary people and encourage them to struggle as they have on the water charges campaign on all issues.

Q.

What is your number one priority for your constituency?

Housing crisis is the number one issue. A ban on economic evictions, rent controls, mortgage write downs and the building of council houses all have to be fought for.

What one thing would you like to do in your first 100 days of the new Dáil if you are elected?

As above on housing and abolish Irish Water, water charges and fix leaks in mains instead of installing meters.
