Biography

An Independent Kildare county councillor, he was elected in 2014. He is part of the Community Solidarity Group which was formed by activists from the Campaign Against the Home and Water Taxes and is a prominent activist in his local area.

Why should someone vote for you (in 140 characters or fewer)?

I support equality, and people-power to win it. So tax according to ability to pay; increase equality for women – repeal the 8th Amendment.

What is your number one priority for your constituency?

A recovery for ordinary people, not just a rich minority: end stealth taxes; fund healthcare & public childcare, housing, public transport.

What one thing would you like to do in your first 100 days of the new Dáil if you are elected?

A bill to abolish water charges. Fund water by general progressive taxation; local Councils to staff and run service, coordinated centrally
