This woman refused to split the bill on First Dates and all hell broke loose

Yet another brilliantly excruciating exchange.

MARC AND ELLE were a pair of contestants on Channel 4′s wildly addictive dating show First Dates last night – and things were going grand until the bill came.

And then things got seriously awkward.

Elle: We need to pay the bill.
Marc: Are you giving it to me?
Elle: Of course I’m giving it to you. I never pay on dates. Why would I? Come on, I’ve been hot and fun.

The discussion went on for an excruciating couple of minutes more. The bill was £136.69, and Elle did agree to give Marc £30 for the date by the end.

The reaction online was quick, and the whole things sparked a huge debate

Elle might have had the whole internet against her on this one

Earlier in the date, Marc had said that he fancied her

But perhaps not after Billgate 2015

Who will forget such First Dates drama?

There were some that thought she was 100% right

But otherwise, the majority of people thought it should have been a 50/50 split
