Car driven into Coolock gym and set alight

There are no reports of any injuries.

GARDAÍ ARE INVESTIGATING after an arson attack at a gym in Coolock in the early hours of this morning.

A car was driven into the doorway of the Flyefit gym and set alight.

Gardaí were called to the scene at Coolock Retail Park on the Malahide Road at around 2.20am.

Three units of Dublin Fire Brigade also attended the scene and the fire was extinguished.

The gym has been extensively damaged as a result of the attack. However, there were no reports of any injuries.

The scene has been sealed off pending a technical examination.

No arrests have been made and gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
