Nudity is suddenly popular in Ireland after everyone watched Full Frontal

Any why not?

RTE RTE

LAST NIGHT, THE first episode of Angela Scanlon’s new TV show Full Frontal was on the telly.

In it, the presenter explored Ireland’s attitudes to nudity – meeting naturists, going behind the scenes of a nude photo shoot in Stellar magazine, and discussing artist Spencer Tunick’s photographs of hundreds of Dubliners in the nip.

People literally got naked to watch it.

Even the continuity announcer had a confession to make.

The show, which also dealt with the fears some feel around the size or shape of their bodies, had lots of people expressing their pride in their own form.

Even the weatherman somehow got involved

We’re not sure whether anyone followed through on this, though…

@Terry McClatchey: that’s the thing, none of the150 or so islanders drink beer, a survey in 2915 showed they preferred larger, something to do with the fact most of them are related to the o Driscolls who came from nearby sherkin island, well that and magic mushrooms which will be in abundance late October, sweet days on beer island ahead
