The authority is now calling on people in these cities to pre-register so they get get cycling as soon as the bikes are on the street. Customers who pre-register will also get a 50% discount – receiving a special offer of €5 for annual subscription. The special offer extends to the end of 2014.
Gerry Murphy, CEO of the National Transport Authority said the bikes would be an exciting new addition to the three cities “for business and recreational users alike”.
Over the next five years, Coca-Cola Ireland will be investing €3 million in the project, supporting the operation of the bikes.
